SCENE
Even past noon, I haven't yet decided where to go home. I get off at a station I don't know and slip through a narrow alley. A slightly humid wind blows, and only the hem sways slowly. I hadn't thought I was wearing something sweet, but with every step the lace catches the light and looks a little softer than usual. Plans, destinations, who I might meet — all still uncertain. And yet, when I wear these pants, even the time when nothing is decided becomes truly mine.
昼を過ぎても、まだ帰る場所を決めていない。知らない駅で降りて、細い路地を抜ける。少し湿った風が吹いて、裾だけがゆっくり揺れる。
